SKETCHUP - BRAND IDENTITY
Role: Executive Producer, Account Director
SketchUp’s legacy promise of “3D for everyone” had become outdated, and they needed updated brand positioning that was more premium and targeted at the professional sector.
So we set about elevating the brand to connect with bigger ambitions than work.
From there, we implemented a new voice, visual identity, and brand guidelines to showcase the powerfulness of SketchUp.

PROJECT: ID.4 “IQ SAFETY” DEMOS
Role: Executive Producer
Nighttime driving never looked so sexy. Pairing sleek, futuristic, science-fiction-inducing visuals with Volkswagen’s ID.4 next-generation EV felt like it made sense on paper, but seeing them come to life was better than we could’ve imagined (and dare I say more than a safety demo videos could hope for!)
The Scholar creative team of Sean Martin and Wu Hyun Lew flexed hard on this one, creating a fully CG environment for the ID.4 to zip around in, and when those safety features flash, they really pop against the rich blue backdrop.

AGENCY: ACE CONTENT
CLIENT: RALLY
Role: Executive Producer
Although the coin itself was short-lived, the video we created lives on! And the visuals are still a great watch.
We teamed up with ACE Content to develop, design, and produce this video to introduce Rally, a cryptocurrency for creatives.
Developing all the looks was a fun challenge and bringing them to life through eye-catching animation brought a unique creative personality to each section, perfectly suited for the target audience.
AGENCY: JUNIPER JONES, DROGA5
CLIENT: MAILCHIMP, POP-UP MAGAZINE
Role: Producer, Story Editor
I had the pleasure of partnering with Pop-Up Magazine in producing and story editing these two episodes of Mailchimp’s ‘Outer Monologue’ series in which celebrities lay bare their inner most insecurities and feelings that transpired during pivotal moments in their respective careers.. Vulnerable, raw, real…it all makes for great animation!

CLIENT: TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES
PROJECT: LET’S MOVIE
Role: Executive Producer
We partnered with our good friends at TCM to bring their “Let’s Movie” brand initiative to life.
The challenge is always about finding new and exciting ways to treat the archival footage and we found creative ways to do so across the two campaigns, giving each a unique spin while retaining the spirit of discovery.
For the initial campaign, we shot multiple days, east coast and west, pairing the movies with thematic locations. My favorite was a small, family-owned airstrip we found in central New Jersey.
And for the “remix,” pairing the footage with elegant-meets-flashy design, a remixed track, and archival audio from Dick Cavett, made for another stunner.
Shout out to Eli Mavros for the concepts on both! Legend.
AGENCY: JUNIPER JONES
CLIENT: RADIO DISNEY
Role: Creative Concept, Copywriting, Producing
We built this brand campaign around re-inventing radio, and highlighting that kids just want to be themselves, dancing, having fun, freaking out! And made with the youtube-influencer-produced look in mind, of course, because what can’t these kids do??
And we had an amazing cast (and casting director)! Kids are awesome, but these kids especially.
Our creative was built to work seamlessly between multiple aspect ratios, knowing our target audience would be on their phones and social first.

AGENCY: LIGHTNING ORCHARD
CLIENT: DANONE
Role: Executive Producer
We shot these energized spots for Dannon’s everyday Greek yogurt in a marathon one-day shoot. It was a fast-paced extravaganza, and we carried the vibes over into the cuts.
It pays to have a killer crew who are on top of their respective games, and happy to say we had the pieces in place to pull it off!
Much love to Sally Tran for directing.

MICHAEL PHELPS
Shortly before he poured quick-drying cement onto his legend, I was fortunate enough to work with Michael Phelps on these cool spots for Krave Jerky. MP shows his rediscovered commitment to swimming while nodding to his haters...that’s how you resurrect an image! and Krave Better, naturally.
CARLI LLOYD
These spots, developed just as the women’s national team, and in-particular Carli Lloyd, were fighting for equal pay with their male counterparts, timed perfectly with the “Krave Better” campaign. Let’s get serious here- the women’s game is better than the mens. That’s not the point, but still.

CLIENT: DELIVERY.COM
Role: Executive Producer, Scriptwriting
“You write what you know” doesn’t really apply in this instance...although I did get to keep the suit, so maybe “you write what you want to know”? Needless to say, this one was a lot of fun. Delivery.com’s first ever TV commercial and we successfully walked the razor’s edge of offense and innuendo.

HAPPY HOUR (season 15)
Role: Executive Producer, Concept, Creative Development, Scriptwriting
Happy Hour isn’t necessarily broken, but adding Ellen gave the hour an added smile quotient.
The Promax BDA nominated campaign was produced over a happy Summer in partnership with the team at Warner Bros.
ELLEN EMOJI (season 14)
Role: Executive Producer, Scriptwriting
At the time of production, Ellen’s face made people smile. It was a great strategy at the time!

We’ve all experienced the excitement elicited by a package arrival. And since the lifespan of a dog is divisible by seven, it’s only logical that the joy of anticipation, the mystery of the contents within and their impending discovery, would be multiplied by the same. This concludes today’s lesson.

CLIENT: COMPASS
Role: Executive Producer, Creative
Real Estate isn’t the sexiest business. Fact? Could be you’re just not doing it right. We partnered with Compass to develop a web series that makes their Agents look like rockstars and simultaneously provides the brand with a visual identity (aka sex appeal?)
AGENCY: JUNIPER JONES // BMF MEDIA
CLIENT: DELL
Role: Executive Producer, Copywriting, Naming
Malicious malware? Network worms? Sure sound scary to me... The reality is, many small business owners remain unaware of the threats posed to their data. For Dell’s Small Business Week, and in partnership with Microsoft and Macafee, we created an Augmented Reality experience, gamifying the threat posed by hackers. The adrenaline inducing game left a lasting impression and simultaneously informed all players who fought the good fight to the need for data security.

BRAIN GAMES
Role: Executive Producer
What a thrill to work with the Dolph. He was a true professional on set and taught us a thing or two! Idea master Eli Mavros pulled this concept from his treasure trove and the team at Nat Geo helped it take shape and we shot on location in LA with our talented crew (shout out to line producer Sister Christian!). A great team effort all around!

Role: Executive Producer
Back when the AI takeover was only a dream of the future, we shot these nightmarish promos in Brooklyn with our good friends at Nat Geo. Lawrence Fishburne added a note-perfect VO.

The mild headache that gently and persistently taps at the back of my eyeballs every morning until I’ve consumed that requisite mug of caffeine leads me to believe that Magic, if it existed, would be a powerfully addictive vice.
This one started with a manifesto that led to a tagline that informed all the promotional materials to follow.
